Class Details
How long are classes?
Regular classes last for 40 minutes. This length is designed to keep your children's attention, and excited to come back for more!
Semesters last for 8-12 sessions depending on the semester. Our schedule is organized into 4 annual semesters so your child can move on to the next level as they grow and develop.
What are classes like?
Wear comfortable clothes for movement. We'll sing, dance, and explore rhythm together. Caregivers participate alongside children—no musical experience needed!
In every class, you can expect:
- An eclectic, carefully curated repertoire that changes seasonally
- Dancing to classical, jazz, and pop recordings
- Exploration with instruments, props, rhythm, and rhymes
- Fun, core-strengthening movements designed for each age group
- Songs and imaginary play with Yokey the puppet
- Seasonal playlists available on Spotify & Apple Music
- Take-home handouts with lyrics and activities for at home
- Safely sanitized props (hard plastics washed in hot, soapy water between classes; soft items regularly laundered)
Most importantly: This is a judgment-free space where every voice is celebrated. You don't need to be "musical"—we'll teach you and your child together.
Are parents and caretakers expected to participate?
Yes, parents and caretakers will be actively playing along with their children.
When is the right age to enroll my baby?
Come when you’re ready! Families often start at 3 months after babies' immune systems are a little stronger, but we’ve welcomed 2-week-old babies in class. Come and learn songs and rhymes to sing while baby is still in utero!
Bookings
Can I switch my child's class or enrollment mid semester?
Yes! if you're child's nap schedule changes, or you need to switch, that's no problem, depending on availability.
Will you do private in-home classes or birthday parties?
